Green Chilli Pakodas, these are very much liked in Rajasthan for breakfast. They are also very easy to make. Potato chutney is used for stuffing in it. So today we are going to make green chilli pakoras. If you are making it with this recipe then your taste will take your guests to your kitchen.

Recipe of making batter for Green Chilli Pakora
- Take a big size of bawl.
- Add 1 cup of gram floor and mixed it well with water. Ensure there should not be any lumps in it.
- Add all the ingredients into the mixer as per table shown above. Now mixed it well.
- Keep aside the batter for 10 to 15 minuts for setting it well.
- Your batter is ready for making the Pakoda.
Prepare the spice container for Pakoda Stuffing

हरी मिर्च (Green Chilli) | 2-3 , Finely Chopped बारीक कटी हुई |
अदरक (Ginger) | 1 Tea spoon grated छोटी चम्मच, ग्रेट की हुई |
जीरा (Cumin Seeds) | 1 Tea Spoon छोटी चम्मच |
धनिया पाउडर (Coriander Powder) | 1 Tea spoon छोटी चम्मच |
हल्दी पाउडर (Turmeric Powder) | 1/4 Tea spoon छोटी चम्मच |
आलू (Potato) | 4-5, Meshed मैश किए हुए |
नमक (Salt) | 3/4 Tea spoon छोटी चम्मच |
लाल मिर्च पाउडर (Red Chilli Powder) | 1 Tea spoon छोटी चम्मच |
अमचूर पाउडर (Dry Mango Powder) | 1/2 Tea spoon छोटी चम्मच |
गरम मसाला (Garam Masala) | 1/4 Tea spoon छोटी चम्मच |
हरा धनिया (Green Coriander) | 1-2 Table Spoon Chopped बड़े चम्मच, कटे हुए |
Prepare stuffing for Green Chilli Pakoda
- Take some 8 to 10 Green Chilli bigger in size and now make a slit in it with a knife so that the inside seeds can come out and the stuffing can be filled.
- Now take a pan than add 2 tablespoons of oil and heat it on low flame.
- When the oil is hot, add 2 teaspoons of gram flour, 1-2 green chilies finely chopped and 1 teaspoon of grated ginger. Fry the spices added in the pan until a good aroma of gram flour starts coming from it.
- Once the spices are roasted, add 1 teaspoon cumin powder, 1 teaspoon coriander powder and ¼ teaspoon turmeric powder and fry lightly by mixing all spices.
- Fry the spices for ½ minute and then add 5 boiled potatoes,
- Mash the potatoes in well and grind them finely than add ¾ teaspoon salt, 1 teaspoon red chili powder, ½ teaspoon dry mango powder, and ¼ teaspoon garam masala.
- Mix all the ingredients and fry them,When the spices and potatoes are properly mixed, add 1-2 tablespoons of green coriander and mix, your stuffing will be ready.
- Take it out, cool it and fill it inside the chopped chilies.
Process of frying Green Chilli Pakoda
- Take a pan whichever is in the house and fill 250 ml oil into the pan.
- Heat the oil on medium-high flame.
- By this time your batter must have set and become thick for making green chilli pakoda.
- Please mind that we keep Gram flour batter little thick for Green Chilli Pakoda, now add ⅛ teaspoon of baking soda to this batter and mix it well.
- Now check whether the oil is hot or not, after the oil is hot, take the stuffed in Green Chilli and coat them well with the gram flour batter and then put them in the pan.
- You can put as many as Green Chilli in the pan as your pan size. Now fry them well till they become golden brown.
- Take out the Chilli Pakoda from the pan.
- Now Serve the Green Chilli Pakoda to your love ones with any sauce (chutney) of your choice.
